Your illustrations are fabulous, as always, and we liked your colors. It was a very cohesive collection. The slouchy style really works, and your aesthetic shines through your work. One of the judges commented that your designs may be more at home as childrenswear. We are slightly nervous about the massive sasquatch coat.
ThatsSuper
First off, the illustrations are absolutely lovely. Your description was detailed, the looks were styled well, and your aesthetic came through beautifully. Every look was fashionable, every piece a standout. The mixture of textures, patterns, and shapes was wonderful, the colors kept it cohesive, and you were able to show many ideas without it ever seeming busy. Great job.

The illustrations are fabulous. The judges thought, however, that the snowflakes used throughout your collection were somewhat childish looking, and maybe not super fashionable. That being said, your looks were well thought out and, for the most part, cohesive. The gown wouldnt be quite so floaty and whimsical in real life. Overall, good job.
Elysianskies
Great illustrations, as always, and everything looks very cohesive. The judges didnt love your choice of colors, and found some of the pieces slightly old looking. The coat and gown were nice. Not too much in the way of innovation was done, though
theloveliest
The illustrations are alright [work a little on proportions], but the concepts fell a little short. Try to work harder on the light/shade, along with stronger colors [is this caused by the scanner?].
Pixy-Brand
Pretty illustrations, but the gown was a little tacky-looking. There were some nice ideas [the jumper], but everything just fell a little short. Try to push yourself a little harder, maybe experiment a little more in the ways of innovation.
Talieps1000
The illustrations are nice, however the massive shoulders and arms were a little distracting. Work on those areas, and future illustrations will look much less severe. The ideas were nice and cohesive, but one of the judges wanted more. It was all a little safe. Push yourself and experiment a little.
Stirringofbirds
The illustrations were nice, however work more on shadows and highlights. The petals left us a little confused. How would the look in real life? The ideas are nice, but how translatable they are, I dont know. The dress is a little too reminiscent of the Leanne wedding dress for us.
Manu666tb
Great illustrations and kudos for doing flats. The actual designs, however, fell a little flat. The fringing wasnt for everyone, even though it is considered trendy at the moment. The fringing in many of the looks seemed kind of arbitrary and would have been better without.
Roxanne23
The illustration is alright, but not spectacular. Faces/hair/etc. would definitely help better your illustrations. The concepts were really lacking for us. The colors, patterns, etc were all over the place. The styling wasnt great [those boots! eek!] The coat was a standout[maybe with a little tweaking], but the rest of the collection was cheap looking.
Y-genya-y
The illustrations are nice. Looks 1 and 3 in particular we loved. I like the color palette a lot, the darker colors really work for winter and the sweaters were great!
Somethingsquared
The colors are very nice, and everything is illustrated pretty well [keep a watchful eye on the proportions, though]. Focus needs to be placed on shading/light/detail. Those things really hurt your submission. However, your concepts were truly fantastic. The gown would have worked much better had you illustrated it better. Looks 1 and 2 were better than 3 and 4. Work on it for next time.

We had very mixed feelings about this collection. You gave us a lot, but what you gave us wasnt necessarily of the best quality. Some of your concepts were great, such as the second and third looks. However, the pastel colors were a little juvenile. Illustration needs to be worked on. The models need to be lengthened and made taller. That will help when getting proportions across. Keep working on illustration.
ClepClep
The illustrations should be better. Work on shading and please add models in the upcoming challenges. As for the outfits, the fur is nice in some areas but arbitrary in others [the cocktail dress]. Some pieces are cute, but others feel a little costumey. Red cropped pants? The dress looks sort of heavy and large as well.
[Did I forget anyone? I'm so sorry...If I did, please just notify me asap...Thanks for your patience..]

LBM 4.2, Trendy
Now that we've seen YOU, we want to see how you can put your own spin on a trend for this season. For trend ideas, go to style.com.
Create two looks [one day and one night, and PLEASE do not do two dresses, unless the second is used in layering, otherwise it would be a little boring] that incorporate a trend. They should be well styled and be cohesive.
Make sure to focus on fabulous illustration. Technical seaming, shading, light, fabric, texture, model proportions, etc.
Deadline: January 31st at 7 p.m. Central Time

Just checking to make sure you haven't worked yourself into a grave.

Here in SoCal everyone busts out the heaters and heavy-duty blankets as soon as we hit the 50s. Holy crap =/
