Portfolio_2

Second in a series of three, my portfolio for Project Designer Cycle 7.

For this look, I wanted to create a juxtaposition of hard and soft in the dress. The top is reminiscent of a corset, with layers of graduated, monochromatic pink. From there, a light pink, pleated chiffon flows outward (the shape of the woman is still defined, for the corset is quite fitted). At the top, the pink is contrasted by ruffled tulle in a blue-green seafoam color.

I am aware that the dress should be a bit longer for the proportions to be more correct, I am still learning....Sorry!

*Also, I would like to note that I am aware that some of my coloring may seem a bit rough. I am trying to experiment with various media types....
